We live in a world full of fear, pain, suffering, hate and hopelessness.  It is our desire at Second Timothy One Seven to promote a Spirit of POWER, of LOVE and a SOUND MIND. We pray that this site will be an oasis of truth and inspiration for you and a resource for your journey with God.

Hi Allison! Glad you are on my site! My blog has a ton of scripture verses. Go to the identity and purpose section would be great place to start. there are many resource links under the blog roll. thats not where they are supposed to be. I’m working on fixing that. It is a work in progress…. as we all are. Hang in there and know that God loves you so much and he sent me to you to tell you that! He has a plan for your life, all you have to do is invite Him in and He will walk with you.

John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world that He gave His Only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have Eternal Life”

When you ask Him into your heart, your new life begins! He fills you with peace and purpose! Walking with Him in relationship is what we were created for!

The verse that this site is based on says, For God has not given us a Spirit of Fear but a Spirit of Power and Love and a Sound Mind. He offers you this and anyone who calls on the name of Jesus to be saved. Just come as you are! Where you are! And He will come if you are sincere. Jesus said, “Come to me all who are weary and I will give you rest” I am praying for you. Blessings, Jon

    Hi Jon,
Thanks for taking the time to write. We are called to live by faith and not by sight. Without faith is is impossible to please the Lord. One of the verses I shared in my Sunday morning message was Hebrews 11:8, “By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.” So many times we have to take a step of faith not really knowing where we are going but trusting the Lord to guide us step by step. God bless you brother.
